Commercial register entry deadlines for the current year

As the year draws to a close, the number of applications to the commercial register increases. The cantonal commercial registers endeavor to process these applications as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, longer processing times are to be expected due to the increasing number of requests. This is also due to the Christmas and New Year vacations.

Depending on the canton, the processing of commercial register entries for the current financial year is guaranteed up to a certain date. For example, in the canton of Zurich, the deadline is December 2, 2024. If all required documents are submitted properly, i.e. complete and correct, the application will be processed by the end of the year.

After the cantonal deadlines have expired, applications will continue to be processed as far as possible, depending on processing capacity. However, there is no guarantee of registration before the end of the financial year.
