ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark
The Pioneer Prize honors innovative technology start-ups in Switzerland every year. With 100,000 CHF in prize money, the award supports groundbreaking projects that make the transition from idea to market readiness.
Criteria
The prize is awarded to a technical project (product, process or concept) that is characterized by particular innovative strength, ease of use and proximity to the market. The company was founded to implement the submitted project no more than two years ago. In addition, the project must not have been developed on the basis of a contract from third parties.

The “ZKB Pioneer Prize” honors a technical project on the brink of market entry, which is characterized by particular innovative strength, market proximity and social relevance.
Award
The prize is endowed with CHF 98,696.04 (10,000 times the value of Pi squared).
