Swiss Medtech Award

Companies or research institutions based in Switzerland that meet at least one of the following criteria in the field of medical technology:

1. Generates patient benefits: Candidates develop new medical devices and can demonstrate patient benefits in studies or on the market.
2. New solutions for healthcare: The candidates have implemented new solutions that lead to noticeable cost savings in healthcare.
3. Pioneering advance payments: The candidates have made groundbreaking advance payments in the sense of
   a. new technologies, which have been proven to provide better products for patients.
   b. new processes that lead to competitive advantages and the strengthening of Switzerland as a business location.

Since 2018, the Swiss Medtech Award has been honoring innovative companies or innovative products in the medical technology sector. The focus is on the criteria of market success with high patient benefits at the same time.

In addition to an appearance at the most important medical technology industry event, Swiss Medtech Day, the winners will receive prize money worth 75,000 francs.
